One Room Challenge - Week 8 | Revel in the Reveal!
As my 2.5 year old says: Ta Da!
8 weeks is not a lot of time to transform a space, but hooray! We managed to pull it off. Here’s a reminder of where we started:
The room was feeling cramped with the layout it had, and had no personality. If you look back to week 2, you’ll see how we solved for the layout issue by reorienting the bed and getting more appropriate storage. Scale is so important in a small space and helps it function visually as well as practically. Believe it or not, this bed now has space for 2 kids and there’s room for toys to be tucked away neatly.
You’ll have to go back to week one to see more before photos, because these after photos are just too good to put next to them (oooooo burn!).
There’s still a few things I’d like to do in here like clean up the trim, touch up some paint, and swap out bedding. We’re also waiting for our ottomans to arrive — but wow have we come a long way and the room is beautiful. I’m going to work on getting this shot professionally so you can see it in it’s real full glory. These iphone shots don’t do it justice! Stay tuned as I recover from this design blitz and share more about this process as my brain catches up (ha!).
